Yes, direct vent gas fireplaces may be safely installed in any room in your home, as long as you can maintain safe distances from the fireplace to materials such as curtains, hanging towels, etc. It is also recommended that you do not install the fireplace where it is in danger of having water splash directly on it, nor install where there is a slippery surface where you are in danger of slipping or falling.
These fireplaces may be vented to the outside of a wall or through the roof. Some finishes may be affected by airborne chemicals from spas and hot tubs, so check with your Enchanted Fireside professional when designing your bathroom.
